The Government (hereinafter also referred to as “CDC”) requires the removal of existing rolled good carpet, removal and reinstallation of existing seating 9 (loose and fixed), purchase and installation of new floorcovering, stair riser, stair nosing and electrical disconnect and reconnect of existing seating (fixed). The project also includes the removal of existing rolled good carpet, carpet tiles, bamboo flooring, rubber base and rubber flooring), lifting of existing furniture and systems furniture, provide and install new carpet tiles, luxury vinyl tile, rubber base and Lobby area rug A solicitation will be issued to provide the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with a contract to replace floorcoverings in Bldg 19, Building 21 in the Basement through 12th floor and Building 24, at the Roybal campus. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 Proposal receipt date is not known at this time. The actual date will be established in the solicitation documents. A pre-proposal meeting date and location will be noted in the solicitation. CDC intends to issue a single award as a result of solicitation 75D301-20-R-67864. It is anticipated that the resulting Firm Fixed Price contract will have a period of perfomance of 365 days after the notice to proceed is issued. Request for Proposal (RFP), 75D301-20-R-67864, will be posted on www.beta.sam.gov on or about January 31, 2020. Any amendments issued to the soliciation will also be made at the same website. This is set-aside as a Total Small Business competitive requirement and as such is limited to eligible small business concerns. The NAICS Codes for this proposed procurement are 238330 – Flooring Contractors. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. This procurement is a Total small business set-aside. Responsible small business sources may submit an offer that will be considered. The small business size standard for NAICS 238330 is $15.5 million. Firms must be certified in accordance with solicitation clause, FAR 52.219-8-Utilization of Small Business Concerns.
