Description
Provide (1) one 10’x 12’ typhoon-rated pre-cast concrete structure to be delivered and installed at the southwest side of the 60’ freestanding tower at Nimitz Hill High Site, Guam. The concrete building shall include the following: electrical power, adequate lighting and a center dividing wall; one room will require two (2) 2” cable ducts exiting the rear of the structure, a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher, cable trays and air conditioning. The other room will require an electrical panel, dry-chem fire extinguisher and adequate ventilation for a 12KW, 50AMP, 470lb propane generator (48x24x28-1/4). The structure shall have 2 doors and a rooftop. Provide the following submittals: complete drawings, design calculations and registered engineer stamp stating typhoon rated condition. Government will provide on-site technical direction, foundation for the structure, and electrical hookup to Bldg. Delivery shall be to USCG Site at Nimitz Hill, Guam, installed and ready for use by 28 April 2004. FOB destination. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. Award will be based on price. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-19. The NAICS code is 238120 with a size standard of $12.0M. The provisions of FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items apply to this solicitation.
