CONSTRUCT/REPLACE PIER TO ARCO DRYDOCK ACCESS RAMP, PIER 5002, NAVAL BASE POINT LOMA, SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA

This requirement is to design-build a complete and usable access ramp, which will attach to the existing Naval Base Point Loma Pier 5002 and the existing hoists. The ramp will need to extend from the Pier 5002 to the Arco (ARDM-5 Class) Medium Auxiliary floating dry dock and have the capacity to support the existing loading from forklifts, equipment, and people. The dry dock provides maintenance and repair services for submarines, as well as other small crafts. The ramp will need to be design to work with the existing conditions of both the pier and the hoists. The existing deteriorating ramp shall be demolish and dispose from Pier 5002.
