Occupational Medical Surveillance Examinations

This is a bridge contract for above services. The current contract, W912QG-19-P-0036 Option Year 2, was not exercised due to lack of employees available within the POP for Option Year 2 due to COVID restrictions and training requirements. There is not enough time to issue a solicitation for a brand new contract consisting of a base year and 4 option periods which is estimated to be over the SAT threshold. Market research shows from the previous contract that there are two or more small business entities that could be utilized for this requirement. For W912QG-19-P-0036, 5 quotes were received from small business entities. However, due to the time left in the fiscal year to accomplish the statutory requirements for the exams of the federal employees, a sole source contract will be issued to the incumbent contractor who already has mobilized the manpower, supplies and materials necessary to conduct the exams prior to the end of FY21
