Operation and Maintenance of Hawthorne Army Depot

Army Contracting Command-Rock Island awarded a contract for the operation and maintenance of Hawthorne Army Depot (HWAD) to DynCorp International LLC. The contract has a base period with five, one-year ordering periods, resulting in a five-year base performance period. The contract also includes a three-year evaluated option with one-year ordering periods; and a two-year evaluated option with one-year ordering periods, which equates to a potential period of performance up to 10 years. The contract is awarded as an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the majority of the orders awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis and utilized a best value subjective tradeoff source selection to award a single contract. The contract has two requirements for materials/supplies which will be placed on a cost reimbursable basis.
