Production, Planning, Engineering, and Support (P2ES) efforts for the LPD 17 Class Amphibious Transport Dock Ship Program.

10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) “only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1. The proposed contract action will provide P2ES efforts for project execution, life cycle products, material and services for the LPD 17 Class Ships’ electronic systems. The emphasis of the required support is related to Construction and Shipboard Test & Trials (CST&T), Integrated Shipboard Electronics (ISE) Support Activity Services, Post Delivery Services, and related technical data and material for LPD 17 Class Amphibious Transport Dock Ships electronics systems. The services include building yard interface support, systems engineering, obsolescence management, logistics support, training support, software support, and engineering and design modifications to the LPD 17 Class baseline.
