USS RUSSELL (DDG 59) FY21 Selected Restricted Availability (SRA)

BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair (BAE), San Diego, CA is being awarded a $34,729,132 firm-fixed price contract for the execution of the USS RUSSELL (DDG-59) Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) Selected Restricted Availability (SRA). This availability will include a combination of maintenance, modernization and repair of the USS RUSSELL (DDG-59). This is a “long-term” docking availability and was solicited on a coast-wide (West Coast) basis without limiting the place of performance to the vessel’s homeport. BAE will provide the facilities and human resources capable of completing, coordinating, and integrating multiple areas of ship maintenance, repair, and modernization for USS RUSSELL (DDG-59). This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $49,973,764. Work will be performed in San Diego, CA and is expected to be completed by September 2022. This contract was competitively awarded using full and open competition via the Federal Business Opportunities website, which has since transitioned to beta.SAM.gov. Three (3) offers were received for the USS RUSSELL (DDG-59) FY21 SRA in response to Solicitation No. N00024-21-R-4456. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity (N00024-21-C-4455).
