Research and Development (R&D) contract that addresses the needs of the Radiation Health Effects Research Program (RHERP) within the Joint Warfighter Medical Research Program (JWMRP). RHERP focuses on developing medical countermeasures for acute ionizing radiation injury to prevent or treat the effects of acute radiation syndrome (ARS). Proposal is titled “Further Development of 5-AED (Androstenediol, Neumume) for the Protection from Acute Radiation Syndrome (ARS).”
