CH-53K BuNo 169021 Retrofit

The Naval Air Systems Command awarded a modification to Contract N00019-06-C-0081 with Sikorsky, A Lockheed Martin Company, Stratford, CT for the CH-53K BuNo 169021 Retrofit and the Blue Force Tracker Install Provisions (Pre-DD250). This procurement was procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), in that Sikorsky is the only known source possessing the requisite knowledge, technical expertise, special skills, technical data, facilities, and experience to develop and produce the unique components required to integrate these modifications on the CH-53K.
