Justification and Approval for USAID/Tanzania's C3HP-HIV&TB (Local) Acquisition

The proposed Tanzania Comprehensive Client-Centered Health Program – HIV and Tuberculosis (C3HP-HIV&TB) activity is a 5-year activity, in a total estimated amount of $104,000,000, aimed at increasing the demand for and use of quality integrated HIV and TB services, particularly by youth and children, leading to improved health outcomes. The acquisition directly responds to the PEPFAR goal of transitioning HIV services to local partners and the USAID’s vision of leading countries in their Journey to Self-Reliance (JSR) by creating sustainable local capacity. This procurement will be conducted under limited competition to “Local Partners”. Only organizations that meet the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief’s (PEPFAR) definition of a Local Partner will be eligible to compete for the requirement and submit written offers.
