This is a notice of the Government's intent to award a sole source contract, 1 year base period (01 Mar 12 - 28 February 2013), 4 -12 month option periods (01 Mar 13 - 28 February 2017), IAW FAR 52.217-8, to Pierce Manufacturing, Inc. to facilitate maintenance services for Oshkosh Specialty Vehicle GE mobile MRI Trailer positioned at Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center, Fort Meade, MD. Pierce Manufacturing, Inc is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for these Oshkosh Specialty Vehicles and has proprietary diagrams and parts for these trailers and its components. Pierce Manufacturing, Inc. has maintained the equipment the previous year via routine and unscheduled maintenance requests. This notice is an urgent requirement for Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center at Fort Meade, MD. Parties interested in future announcements on this procurement shall provide detailed information of their capabilities and certifications to clearly meet the requirements stated above.
