NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 316th Contracting Squadron/LGCBD, Andrews AFB, Maryland intends to award a sole source contract to EMS Technologies Canada, LTD (SATCOM), for a 4-month base period and one option year for Field Service Representatives to provide overall maintenance and communication support on the ElectroMagnetic Sciences Technologies Canada, LTD High Speed Data (HSD) 128/400 terminal, Cabin Network Xcelerator (CNX) router, AMT-50 antenna and other HSD system related equipment and wiring on the 89th Airlift Wing aircraft. The contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2304 (c )(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
