INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO4) intends to sole source a full service agreement contract for the GeneXpert XVI Molecular Assay at the Wilmington VA Medical Center, 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805. All work is to be completed in accordance with statement of work and schedule. This sole source contract will be solicited and negotiated with Cepheid US, 904 Caribbean Drive, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 under the authority of FAR 8.405.6 Only One Source. The GeneXpert XVI Molecular Assay Analyzer provides rapid results for a variety of clinical tests and is considered critical in meeting patient care needs. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard is $22.0 Million. Interested vendors that can meet this requirement, may identify their interest and capability, and respond to this notice by 06/08/2021 at 12:00 PM EST. No solicitation will be made available. This is not a request for quotations. All information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be sent via email to the Contracting Officer at [email protected]. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Contracting Department will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Cepheid US.
