Notice of Intent to Sole Source Fitness Mobile Application Software to BridgeAthletic, Inc.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE – THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD TO BRIDGEATHLETIC, INC., FOR FITNESS MOBILE APPLICATION SOFTWARE The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract for a Fitness Mobile Application Software to BridgeAthletic, Inc. (290 Division ST STE 410, San Francisco, California 94103-4893; SAM Unique Entity ID: RZKPMMDPT8W9; DUNS: 079826977; CAGE: 81PV0). In order to meet the Government’s mission, the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), Recruiting Medical Fitness Division (RMFD) requires the “BridgeTracker” fitness mobile application software that provides a platform for coaches to build, administer, and manage physical fitness programs for their organization. Under the Military Base package, BridgeTracker™ will include advanced training design functionality, a proprietary weight prescription algorithm, and EXOS content (2000+ exercises with videos & cues). It also allows for the automation of data collection to include program attendance and utilization, as well as built-in communication for the end user to utilize both in and out of the home training facility. In regards to Services, the base package includes seats for coaches to manage up to 1000 users, 3 training consulting hours, and a 24-hour support center. The Contracting Officer has determined that BridgeAthletic Inc., is the only source which owns the proprietary software BridgeTracker™ which includes advanced training design functionality, a proprietary weight prescription algorithm, and EXOS content. In addition, as proprietary owner of BridgeTracker, BridgeAthletic Inc. is the only source able to configure, tune and make required software changes to meet RMFD’s technical and operational requirements. This procurement will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(i) under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified Acquisition Procedures . The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 511210, Software Publishers. Small Business Size Standard of $41.5M. This is a commercial item. The period of performance (POP) is for a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations.
