CALL 27 Easter Upper Peninsula of Michigan This Call covers: FIA Data collection work in the Easter Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The first year of this call will be in Field guide V9.4 and an updated Field Guide may be in place for year two. Plot types included: P2, P2+, P2+ Soils and P1 QAQC verification plots. The data collection work is for Two years and includes work for YEAR-TO-YEAR field seasons. The first field season year is the base year. The 2026 field season year is an option year. This call will NOT include the collection of High-Performance Global Navigation Satellite System (HPGNSS) data. The USDA Forest Service (FS), Procurement & Property Services (PPS), Forest Inventory and Analysis | US Forest Service Research and Development (usda.gov) is issuing this synopsis as a means of complying with the USDA’s policy in the Contracting Desk Book, SUBPART 413.3—SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION METHODS, 413.303 Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs). The USDA FS intends on awarding a competitive BPA Call Order against multiple award schedule BPAs for FIA Data collection work located at USDA’s Contract Portal, awarded against solicitation number: 12444823R0002 Inventory and Analysis Program collects, analyzes, and reports information on the status and trends of forests in the Northeast and Midwest. This is not a solicitation. This synopsis notification of intent to award a BPA Call order does not constitute a request for proposals or submission of any information in response to this notification. This procurement is restricted to those approved companies eligible for call orders under the Northern Research Station, FIA Data collection Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA)’s. There are currently 21 businesses that will receive this solicitation. The Call Order shall be issued via email to those companies listed on the BPA. Any changes to the Call Order RFQ shall also be emailed to those companies listed on the BPA. Point of Contact is [email protected].
