Request for Information - Online Legal, Congressional and Procurement Data Tool

The Government requires a comprehensive, subscription-based, online tool that collects best-in class data on legislation and congressional actions, regulations and federal spending, provides high-end analysis and analytic tools providing timely congressional and federal procurement data reporting. The tool must provide: - Congressional and legislative updates including calendar schedules for upcoming events and legislation - Legislative and congressional news and analysis - Congressional member profiles and directories - Federal budget, procurement and contracts data The tool must be customizable to allow for custom alerts and reports to be generated from the system. The Government currently utilizes Bloomberg Government to fulfill this requirement and is seeking sources for any similar service that is a web-based/email based subscription service. CONTRACTOR’S INFORMATION SUBMISSION DETAILS RFI responses shall include the Contractor’s/company’s name, physical address, contact information of the company’s representative (including legal name, phone number, and email address), GSA Schedule-holder contract number and/or Special Item Number (SIN) (if applicable), NAICS, and/or company size status (including socioeconomic status, if applicable). ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS (ONLY) When submitting responses to this RFI, Contractors will be allowed to do so using electronic submission ONLY. Contractors interested in responding to this RFI shall include the title of this RFI in the subject line: “RFI RESPONSE - ONLINE LEGAL/CONGRESSIONAL/PROCUREMENT DATA TOOL”in a typed document, MS Word or PDF preferred, (with a font no less than 12 point, Arial or Times New Roman, 1 inch page margin), within no more than 10 pages. General questions regarding this RFI may also be submitted under the title: “RFI QUESTIONS-ONLINE LEGAL/CONGRESSIONAL/PROCUREMENT DATA TOOL”, in a typed document, MS Word or PDF preferred, (with a font no less than 12 point, Arial or Times New Roman, 1 inch page margin), within no more than two (2) pages. Questions may or may not be answered prior to the sources sought close date. Either response types should be identified in the subject line of the email correspondences. Contractors shall submit responses to this RFI via email ONLY, no later than 12:00 PM ET, June 23, 2017. All responses shall be submitted to Patricia Sylvester at [email protected]. NO OBLIGATION TO ISSUE REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL/BID The Government anticipates procurement of this requirement in mid-July to mid-August of FY 2017, but the issuance of this RFI does not obligate the government in any way to solicit for this requirement or will result in an award of a contract.
