The U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Silver Spring, MD intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for View Commander‐Edge 2500 Version 9, to Internet Video and Imaging, Inc. View Commander. at PO BOX 75, Medway, MA 02053. There are no set-aside restrictions for this procurement, and date of delivery is anticipated to be 7/1/2019. Internet Video and Imaging, Inc. offers a product with capabilities that are not available from any other vendor, and controls all propriety rights for this product: 1. The FDA has an ongoing business need to investigate suspected criminal violations of the FDCA, the Federal Anti-Tampering Act (FATA), other statutes including applicable Title 18 violations, and to collect evidence to support successful prosecutive actions through the federal or state court systems, as appropriate. 2. The FDA/OCI requires thirty-five (35) View Commander-Edge 2500 Version 9 technology recorders, brand name or equal, for use in law enforcement operations to further ongoing efforts to counter the widespread illicit trafficking of FDA-regulated products throughout the United States and investigate criminal violations of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA) and related acts. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested entities may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications statement. The FDA will review all responses received; however, the Government retains the sole discretion not to further compete the proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice.
