V -- Postage for Mailing System

The Bureau of the Public Debt on behalf of the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), intends to issue on a sole source basis, a simplified acquisition to Pitney Bowes Reserve Account, 5101 Interchange Way, Louisville, KY 40229, to obtain metered postage. The service will provide postage for a DM1000 Mailing System, which is currently under a lease agreement with Pitney Bowes. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE. Public Debt will consider all affirmative response received no later than 2:00 PM EST on December 19, 2005. Affirmative responses shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show the ability to provide the required postage at terms more advantageous to the Government. Request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered affirmative responses. If no affirmative response is received that clearly demonstrates their ability to meet all requirements that it is more advantageous to the Government, we will make a sole source award to Pitney Bowes Reserve Account.
