Modification 2 of the Solicitation of a Prospectus to operate Sightseeing Boat Tours and Other Related Services on Lake Mead within Lake Mead National Recreation Area

The National Park Service (NPS) has issued Modification 2 to the Solicitation of a Prospectus to operate Sightseeing Boat Tours and Other Related Services on Lake Mead within Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Modification 2 confirms that the NPS has purchased the Desert Princess from the Existing Concessioner and it will be assigned as Government Personal Property under the terms of the Draft Contract. The NPS has also opened up the Question and Answer period again, any new questions are due no later than December 18, 2012. Additionally, the NPS has extended the Solicitation to January 29, 2013. All documents related to the Prospectus are still available on the National Park Service Commercial Services website: http://concessions.nps.gov/prospectuses.htm. Proposals are due to the National Park Service, Pacific West Region, Attn: Commercial Services, 333 Bush Street, Suite 500, San Francisco, CA 94104 no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) January 29, 2013.
