K--Redesign, integrate, and test Night Vision Device (NVD) compatible rotor headlights, NVD compatible Infrared (IR) anti-collision lights and controllable searchlight dimmer to the MH-60S

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award an order against Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-03-G-0003, with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), Stratford, Connecticut, to provide the necessary personnel, facilities and equipment to perform the nonrecurring work effort required to redesign, integrate, and test Night Vision Device (NVD) compatible rotor head lights, NVD compatible Infrared (IR) anti-collision lights and controllable searchlight dimmer for MH-60S aircraft, including applicable trainer documentation updates. Since SAC is the sole manufacturer of the aircraft, SAC is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, and proprietary technical data necessary to perform this effort. See Numbered Note 22.
