Notice of Purchase to John Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland to Formulate and Test Multiple Versions of CDC Worksite Health ScoreCard

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to John Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland to formulate and test multiple versions of the CDC Worksite Health ScoreCard. This is a follow-on contract to work already performed. The leg work and formative work already conducted by the proposed contractor cannot be substituted without extensive additional resources not available to the Program Office and extended timeline which does not conform to Program Office needs and ensure that high standards and credibility are maintained as the CDC ScoreCard is the key foundational building block of the Department of Public Health Workplace Health Program. This contract action is for supplies and/or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within nine (9) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
