The Department of Energy (DOE) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price award to a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i)(ii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, American Institute of Physics. DOE intends to award this requirement as a sole source to the American Institute of Physics for one year. American Institute of Physics is the sole provider for access to the required online journals. The incumbent contractor shall provide the Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Science (SC) an online journal subscription for online access to the American Institute of Physics journals listed below. Subscription is by calendar year. Access is restricted to the Office of Science. DOE is provided with a direct link to the website which is listed on the OSTI.gov website under the pulldown tab labeled research tools via the SCeJournals link button. This for the Office of Science and is not publically accessible. Subscription period is for the 2019 calendar year. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 519130 - Internet Publishing and Broadcasting and Web Search Portals, with the size standard of 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes. Any vendor who believes it is capable of meeting the DOE-OSTI?s requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which will be considered only if received by December 17, 2018 by 5:00 p.m. EST.
