D -- Sonar Processing System

The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to Oceanic Imaging Consultants, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through reference number: 4THO17052114. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-14. Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for proprietary oceanographic datasets collected by the government platforms. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All information must be received by close of business, 02/07/05. All information submitted on or before this date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
