65 -- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

The 3rd Contracting Squadron, Elmendorf AFB, AK intends to award a sole source purchase order to Philips Medical Systems, 540 Alder Dr., Milpitas, CA 95035. Services to be purchased: 1) Preventive maintenance and repair of Forte Camera and UPS, Unit # 11754. 2) VRTXP, UPS Codonics and archive tracker, Unit # 11756. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 1 October 2004. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
