Description
The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), is seeking qualified sources to develop a performance based Statement Of Work (SOW) for logistics support services. The SOW must include contractor examination of logistics operations in the area of Agency warehouse requirements, warehouse operations, inventories, property accountability, and cataloging and overall supply functions. Following the examination, the contractor shall develop a performance based contract to provide for operational efficiencies and strategic planning. The successful awardee who writes the SOW will not be permitted to submit a proposal to the future requirement relating to that SOW. Interested parties have 15 days from the publication of this synopsis to submit their qualifications/capabilities. This synopsis is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for bids/proposals. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this announcement. Any responses to this notice should be limited to ten pages and should be pertinent and specific to the logistic support services required. Submissions should address the following qualifications: experience in developing a performance based SOW, experience in strategic planning and program development activities, and a familiarity with DoD warehouse processes and other fields. Respondents should submit their information to also include brochures and any other substantive information demonstrating the contractors ability to provide the aforementioned requirements.
