Y -- Upper Willow Wildlife Burn Area Emergency Rehabilitation Fence Construction on the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest

The project consists of 4,800 rods of new construction; 1,280 rods of reconstruction, for a total of 6,080 rods; 4-wire fence (3 barb + 1 smooth wire); galvanized H Braces including gates (these are close estimations*). Total galvanized H Braces: 175. Gates should be constructed at the original locations. Double H Braces to be constructed at corners, cattle guards, roads and gates. New materials (no wood, except for gates) are to be used in the construction of this fence. Contractor to furnish all material. Contractor to remove and dispose of all old wire and steel posts under new construction section. Elevation: 7,200 to 5,100 feet. *Note: This survey was conducted on horseback and vehicle. Not all of the fence line has been physically inspected. The possibility of finding further braces, wire and gates damaged by the fire exists. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to inspect the site, if desired, prior to submitting an offer for this project. Access east of NV State Route US 95.
