NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA solicits interest from companiesinterested in obtaining license rights to commercialize, manufacture and market thefollowing technology. License rights may be issued on an exclusive or nonexclusive basisand may include specific fields of use. THE TECHNOLOGY: NASA Langley Research Center offers you an all-organic electroactive device systemfabricated with single-wall carbon nanotube (SWCNT). The enhanced design offers higherelectroactive performance in comparison with conventional electroactive device systemsfabricated with metal electrodes or other conducting polymers. The new structure allowsfor significant improvement of the electroactive strain due to relief of the constrainton the electroactive layer. It exhibits superb actuation properties and can withstandhigh temperatures with improved mechanical integrity and chemical stability. In addition, the electroactive device can be made transparent, allowing for use in optical devices.NASA is seeking development partners and potential licensees. For all inquiries, please reference LAR-17455-1To express interest in this opportunity, please respond to Sean Sullivan at: NASA LangleyResearch Center, 17 West Taylor St., Mail Stop 218, Building 1212, Room 110 Hampton,Virginia, E-mail:
