99 -- SBA, OMB, GSA and DOD Revamp CCR Database to Provide Oversight and More Accurate Reporting on Small Business Federal Contracting

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Office of Management and Budget, General Services Administration and the Department of Defense have revamped the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. SBA is therefore the authoritative source for business types in the CCR system for 8(a), SBA’s Certified Small Disadvantaged Business, and HUBZone. Also, CCR incorporates SBA’s existing size standards logic to validate a firm’s small business status and eligibility as an Emerging Small Business.
