R--LAW ENFORCEMENT, LAKE TEXOMA, BRYAN COUNTY, OK

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District intends to award, on a sole source basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, a contract to Bryan County Sheriffs Office for a Law Enforcement. The contract is to provide surveillance and law enforcement services for the purpose of enforcement of State and Local Criminal and Civil Laws within the part of the Texoma Project lying within Bryan County, OK. Patrol will include vehicular patrol by deputy sheriff of the access and interior roads of the project area of Lake Texoma. Patrol areas include, but are not limited to: Oklahoma Dam Site, East Burns Run, West Burns Run, Platter Flats, Lakeside, and Johnson Creek Public Use Areas and outlying areas as needed. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
