Notice of Intent to Sole Source In Accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) "Soliciting from a single source" This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 -Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. US Army Corps of Engineers - Omaha District, intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price contract to Cedar County, NE Sheriff's Office Description of work- The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform law enforcement services at Gavins Point Project. The contractor shall adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations. Duration of the contract is estimated to be 30 September 2017 A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED. The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action. The NAICS code is 922120, "Police Protection" The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is "UNLISTED" . All responsible sources may submit a capability statement. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
