--Notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT).

U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity intends to award to CCHIT a Purchase Order to enable the Military Health Systems (MHS) to apply to certify AHLTA through the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT). AHLTA is the military's electronic health record and is used by medical personnel in all the services, at more than 700 military treatment facilities worldwide. CCHIT's certification and coordination is a critical component of supporting the Military Health System strategic planning and coordination efforts.
