L--Notice of intent to award a soel source contract to the American College of Surgeons (ACS) committee

USAMRAA intends to make a sole source award to the American College of Surgeons (ACS) committee on trauma standards. They are uniquely qualified to perform the professional review and edit of the Military Trauma Systems Manual, as they are the authority on trauma care within the United States and worldwide. The Military Trauma Systems Manual must be aligned with contemporary civilian trauma guidelines and manuals to withstand any professional scrutiny. The ACS review and editing on the Military Trauma Systems Manual will allow it to be internationally credible and allow it to be closely aligned with contemporary civilian trauma guidelines and manuals.
