Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Strategic Acquisition Center Frederick (SAC-F), intends to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed priced commercial item Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) to provide membership to the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH) for multiple Veterans Affairs Medical Centers nationwide. A sole source procurement will be issued to AAMC, in accordance with FAR 13.501 Special Documentation Requirements, where acquisitions conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2. The NAICS code for this procurement is 813920 Professional Organizations, and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is $15 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements and submit quotations by the closing date/time of this notice. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
