THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation will be issued. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract in accordance to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), authorized or required by statue. This is a one-time procurement. The VISN 10 Network Contracting Office intends to award a sole source procurement with the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP) to purchase: A one base year plus four, one year options service agreement by American Society of Health System Pharmacists for annual accreditation fees, and an on-site evaluation for the Pharmacy year one and second year residency programs located at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center, 17273 St. Rt. 104, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601. The service agreement period of performance is one year. Performance of the service agreement includes: " Annual program evaluation and accreditation against ASHP standards for a Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) and Postgraduate Year Two (PGY2) residency programs. " On-site evaluation for procedural residency program compliance against ASHP practices and to validate the pharmacy residency programs. The procurement will be for the VAMC Chillicothe, Ohio. The estimated amounted is $26,401.00 for the base year plus 4 option years. The Government believes that American Society of Health System Pharmacists is the only company that can satisfy the agency requirements. Therefore, the Government intends to proceed with sole source procurement for the required equipment. To the best of our knowledge American Society of Health System Pharmacists is the only source that provides the above indicated services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 813910 and the size standard is $7.0M. This is not a request for proposals; however, an interested party may e-mail a written capability statement for these required items, which shall not exceed two (2) pages in length.
