Quality Assurance Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information (HEDIS) for Chlamydia Screening

Title: National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) Data for Chlamydia Screening The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for HIV, Hepatitis, STD, and Tuberculosis Prevention intends to award a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition procedures to National Committee for Quality Assurance, 1100 13th Street NW, Washington, DC 20005, the only source that has access to data required to perform this contract. The purpose of this procurement is to purchase the extracted data for HEDIS measures on Chlamydia Screening and provide for single user customized reporting and non-reporting health plan specific data extraction for seven historical years (200-2007) and one prospective year (2008). Information will be used to guide state STD programs and policy makers in the development of policies and interventions to increase screening. The period of performance is 12 months from date of award. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on response to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS Code is 813319.
