The 316th Contracting Squadron, Andrews Air Force Base intends to negotiate a sole source contract with WFI Stadium Inc., located at 1600 Fed Ex Way, Landover, Maryland 20785, using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant of FAR 6.302-1 (a)(iii) and FAR 15.405. This requirement is to provide utilization of premises for unlimited automobile parking of 20,000 spaces on an asphalt parking lot from 19 May 2007 to 20 May 2007. The resulting contract will be a negotiated firm fixed price contract using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant of FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the government will consider all proposals received within six (6) days after date of publication of this synopsis. The government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of the request for quotation. A determination by the government not to compete with this proposed contact based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency.
