In accordance with Office of Management and Budget Circular A-76 (Revised), Performance of Commercial Activities, May 29, 2003, this notice represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a public-private competition of Laundry and Dry Cleaning Operations performed at the Marine Corps Recruiting Depot, Parris Island, SC. The incumbent service providers affected by this public-private competition are approximately 21 Department of Defense Government personnel positions and two Commercial Service Providers. A standard competition will be conducted in accordance with the revised circular. The planned solicitation issue date is January 25, 2007. Prospective private sector and public reimbursable service providers are encouraged to respond to the solicitation.
