This special notice of intent to award is being posted on FBO.GOV in compliance with and in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 5.101(1) (Methods of Disseminating Information) for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000. The Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA is intending to award an urgent and compelling order today January 16, 2015 for 2 Busch 8.7 HP Dry Claw Pumps w/Motors, including installation and parts to install both pumps. This order is being utilized to fulfill an emergent need at our University Drive location which is urgent and compelling. Furthermore, the intent is to process a Sole Source Justification for this current need and will be posted upon award of the service contract. The value of this current order is $39,350.00. The awardee will be Hanco Ltd., 102 Freedom Drive, Lawrence, PA 15055. This is not a request for sources or for quotes as this is an Emergent order being processed expeditiously.
