**NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE** This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions. This Notice of Intent is for a proposed award of an open market sole source award for Preventive Maintenance and Repairs on Trane HVAC Equipment to support the Department of Veterans Affairs, Washington DC VA Medical Center located at 50 Irving St NW, Washington, DC 20422. The proposed award is to, BOLAND INTERNATIONAL, LLC (SAM UEI: SZ3RL1ZV5118), the sole and exclusive agent for Trane heavy commercial air conditioning products for the DC VAMC Service area (REF: Attachment A below). Award will be made under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b); Soliciting from a single source. Only Boland can provide the required service on the Trane equipment systems (REF Attachment B below) in the DC VAMC area, per the Sole Source Letter received from Trane Commercial HVAC, North America. The term of service shall be 5/1/2023 to 4/30/2028 (Base Year + 4 Option Years). Specific services to be provided include providing the necessary manpower and supervision to properly execute ongoing maintenance of the Trane manufactured equipment listed within Attachment B. Types of maintenance include Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance, Refrigerant Management, Trane Laboratory Analysis, Duplex Centrifugal Chiller Operating Inspections/Annual Maintenance, Cold Generator Operating Inspections/Annual Maintenance Services, Condenser & Evaporator Tubes Cleaning. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance). Product Service Code (PSC) is J041 (Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment - Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Air Circulating Equipment). Small business size standard is $12.5 million.
