Exterior bus cleaning & waste removal services

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13 to acquire exterior bus cleaning and waste removal services in support of the United States Marine Barracks, Washington District of Columbia. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the above services to a large business Gold Line Inc. 5500 Tuxedo Road, Tuxedo MD 20781. The Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The Contractor is the sole provider within a reasonable driving distance of ten miles and is open on weekends. DURATION: This requirement will be for a base year plus two (2) one year option periods. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation. No solicitation document is available and telephone, fax, or email request will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
