Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest – Solicitation for Campground & Related Granger-Thye Concessions

The Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest is issuing this solicitation to inform interested parties of campground concession and site visit opportunities. The concession opportunity is for recreation facilities on the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest and includes 23 campgrounds and day use sites. These facilities are divided into two packages; interested parties may bid on one or both packages. The Permit Area 1 package is for 14 facilities: nine campgrounds and five day-use sites on the High Cascades Ranger District. The average annual revenue of the campgrounds was nearly $373,000.00 between 2018-2020. The High Cascades package includes sites not previously offered for concession operations, for which estimated average revenues total nearly $55,500 based on 2016 data. The Permit Area 2 package is for nine facilities: five campgrounds and four day-use sites on the Siskiyou Mountains Ranger District. The average annual revenue from these facilities was just over $54,500 from 2018-2020. Guided in-person site visits are scheduled for Thursday, July 22, 2021 for the High Cascades Ranger District sites. Contractors are to meet in front of the Prospect Ranger Station/High Cascades Ranger District at 9:00 AM PST. A second site visit will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 for the Siskiyou Mountains Ranger District sites.
