RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): Warm Springs Geovisions, Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation, and Confederated Tribes Umatilla Portland District Corps of Engineers intends to issue three purchase orders using recovery act funding for quotation number W9127N-109-Q-0119 awarded to Warm Springs Geovisions, Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation, and Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation to acquire historical information in sufficient detail that it can be used to support a National Register Determination of Eligibility. There are 31 Treaty Fishing Access and In-Lieu Sites (TFAS) located along the Columbia River and some of these locations may include ceded, usual and accustomed lands and place names which were part of Tribal places. The contractors will each make an initial review of all 31 sites but will concentrate on the parcels that have the greatest significance and document the historical importance
