This notice is to inform the public of the Governments intent to award sole source contracts for the following acts in support of the Andrews 2007 Joint Service Open House from 18 May 2007 through 20 May 2007. 1. Curtiss P-40E Flying Tiger 11. Grumman TBM Avenger 12. Douglas AD-4 Skyraider 13. PBY-5A Catina 14. S2B 15. T-33 16. B-25J Mitchell 17. OV-1D Mohawk 18. DC-3 19. B-17G 20. B-25D 21. C-47D 22. P4D 23. PT-17 24. BAC 167 Strikemaster MK-84 25. C-54 26. Eight (8) T-6 The resulting contract will be firm fixed price using other than full and open competition procedures; interested persons may identify heir interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all proposals received within three (3) days after publication of this synopsis. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in proposal preparation. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency.
