The Naval Medical Logistics Command solicitation for multi-disciplinary medical care services at the Naval Hospital, Camp Lejeune, NC, Naval Hospital, Cherry Point, NC, Naval Hospital Beaufort, SC, Naval Hospital Charleston, SC. Any DoD or Coast Guard military treatment facility (MTF) within the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, which are considered within the scope of resultant contracts, is now available for download from http://www.nmlc.med.navy.mil/ This solicitation was synopsized on 6 October 2006 on FEDBIZOPS. This is a competitive procurement for multi-disciplinary health care worker indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), personal services type contracts. The types of health care workers providing services under the resulting contracts will cover a broad spectrum of medical care ranging from Physicians and Registered Nurses to Medical Assistants and various skilled Technicians and Technologists. Though the labor categories contemplated under this procurement differ, they are all in the same functional area of medical care services. Multiple personal services, firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contracts are contemplated. The minimum quantity anticipated for this procurement is: 81,370 hours of Physician services; 67,912 hours of Allied Health services; 39,824 hours of Advanced Practice Nurse services; 240,840 hours of Nurse services; 28,508 hours of Technologist services, 91,984 hours of Technician services, and 129,360 hours of Assistant services. The maximum quantity is approximately 679,798 combined hours of service. The contracts will have a five year ordering period. This solicitation is a 100% set aside for small business. No RFPs will be mailed to offerors. The RFP has been posted to the internet at http://www-nmlc.med.navy.mil as of 17 Nov 2007. All amendments, if any, will also be posted to the internet at http://www-nmlc.med.navy.mil PREPROPOSAL CONFERENCE: A preproposal conference will be held at Camp Lejeune, NC at the Community Service Center in the Tarawa Terrace housing area building TT44 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM EST on 29 November 2006. The entrance to the housing area is located at the intersection of Western Blvd. and LeJeune Blvd. A visitor's pass may be obtained from the base sentry. Then, proceed straight down Tarawa Blvd to the community center which is about a mile on the right. Plan on an extra 15 to 20 minutes for unregistered vehicles to clear security. A picture identification is required (e.g. driver's license). Due to limited facilities, interested offerors are limited to two attendees each and must register for attendance at the preproposal conference by e-mail to [email protected] with copies to [email protected] and [email protected] by 4:00 PM EST 24 November 2006.
