Q -- Temporary Professional (and allied) Medical Staffing (TPMS) Services BPA for the Department of Health and Human Services

The Department of Health and Human Services plans on awarding two (2) Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) in response to RFQ 05X999999 isssued by the Program Support Center. This requirement is considered a bundled requirement and this notice services as the required notice in accordance with FAR 10.001(c)(2). The identified awardees are Medical Staffing Network and JC Nationwide. Final award decision was based on technically acceptable offer with the highest overall estimated savings off of the Government baseline. The Statement of Work and Positions to potentially be filled under this BPA can be requested of the Contracting Officer. The Government estimates, but does not guarantee, that the annual volume of purchases under the BPAs will be over $55 million (or $275 million over 5 years). The BPA does not obligate any funds. Funds will be obligated as individual orders are placed hereunder. The period of performance for the resultant Business Purchase Agreement (BPA) from this Request for Quotation will have a base period of two years. The Government under the terms and conditions of FAR Part 52.217-9 Option to Exercise the Term of Contract (March 2000) may unilaterally exercise three separate one-year options. All DHHS operating divisions and staff divisions are hereby authorized to place orders under The BPA. Orders may be placed against The BPA using Government Purchase Cards or Purchase Orders or Records of Call, and may be submitted electronically/telephonically/facsimile/hard copy.
