Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office(WRCO), Tacoma, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Blood Bank of San Bernardino and Riverside, DBA Lifestream, in the amount of $114,336.00 for a base plus 2 option years to provide for various blood and blood products. The blood products are required for patient care at Weed Army Community Hospital, Fort Irwin, CA. The location of Weed Army Community Hosptial, Fort Irwin, CA is very remote and the Blood Bank of San Bernadino (LifeStream) can meet the delivery requirements as patients rquire blood products for their healthcare. This notice is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated services can provide supporting documents demonstrating their capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions.
