V--Wheelchair Transportation - Sole Source Notice

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10 Dayton Contract office intends make a sole source award to Eagle One medical Transport, a Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business, for the award of the Medical Transport service contract, providing all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and reports necessary to provide Wheelchair Van/Car transportation services. The Statutory authority for this sole source purchase is Title 10 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented in the FAR 6.302-2(a)(2). The applicable NAICS Code is 621910 with a size standard of $7M. A Justification and Approval to procure using other than full and open competition is available upon request. This is a notice of our intent to sole source this requirement and is not a solicitation or a request for competitive proposal. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than March 1, 2011 at 9:00 am EST by sending an e-mail. All interested parties, must be registered in Central Contracting Registration (CCR) database.
