The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7, intends to negotiate a one year sole-source contract with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), Department of Pathology, 171 Ashley Ave, Charleston, SC 29425-8908, on or around August26, 2013 to provide "Development of S-Nitrosothiol-Based Therapy for Alzheimer's Disease" at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. A qualified researcher from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Department of Pathology will serve as a Research Assistant Professor and will work closely with the Principal Investigator for the titled project. The researcher will perform the following duties: " Design of study " Drug treatment " Data storage " Data analysis " Publication of data This project is expected to be approximately one year in duration.
