Contract award is intended for Vantage Technology, LLC dba Vantage Outsourcing (Vantage) (DUNS: 623876794). Vantage is the only known source of supply for these services that can commence services immediately for the EVAMC and meet their near term cataract surgery schedule from July to December of 2017. Veterans/patients are presently scheduled for surgery each of these six months and EVAMC requires an immediate contract in order to ensure that the necessary training and orientation lead time is provided so that the surgical services of the VA can be prepared to utilize the contractor s services and perform surgeries. Failure to effect immediate award of the contract to Vantage will result in the unacceptable delay of surgical care to Veterans. Contract type will be Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a 6 month period of performance. Contract type was selected as the Government cannot adequately predict the exact number of surgical cases that will need to be performed in any given period of time. Minimum value of services to be ordered over the life of the contract is $5,200. Maximum value of services to be ordered over the life of the contract is $78,000.00.
