The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) on behalf of the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) has entered into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Council of Chief State School Officers. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) sole Source. A continuation of membership fee payment every year. The membership gives exclusive invitations to share ideas, showcase thought leadership and meet professional goals in partnership with fellow members of the field. Leadership academy provides leadership development to chiefs to support professional growth and build agency capacity to increase effectiveness. Organization provides beneficial professional development opportunities such as conferences, workshops, and seminars. BIE is given an opportunity to connect with other leaders and schools around the country and let them spread awareness of BIE as a lot of states have BIE schools and don¿t necessarily know that and how their decisions affect BIE.
